The Governor’s Financial Review Committee (FRC) on August 26th approved a $750,000 grant of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds to Mesa County for its Business Loan Fund, operated by the Business Incubator Center.  The grant will enable the Business Loan Fund to meet continuing demand for small business loans in the unincorporated areas of Mesa County.  The Business Loan Fund also has additional funds available to make small business loans within the Grand Junction City limits.

The Business Loan Fund (BLF), located at the Incubator Center, helps finance small businesses within Mesa County. It is a potential loan source for start-up businesses or existing companies needing capital for equipment, inventory, building improvement, real estate or working capital. Business Loans

For start-up businesses or companies needing capital to expand, our loan fund may help when other choices aren't available. We will consider loan requests from applicants who have been denied financing from other lenders and may be able to finance requests for working capital, inventory, equipment, building improvements, and real estate.
