We have several GREAT classes and events next week. On Tuesday morning we have a Business Tax class taught by a local CPA – this is the time to make sure you’re doing everything right – don’t wait until tax time!

Tuesday night is our first Leading Edge Class of the fall Session. There is still time to sign up. The class runs from 6pm-9pm, every Tuesday night through November 13. By the end of the class, you’ll have a complete business plan, marketing ideas, and know just about everything you need to get your business off the ground or move your existing small business to the next level. The class is taught by Incubator staff, business experts, and Adjunct Professor from CMU, Nancy Murphy. You’ll never find this much information for a better price and with so many other benefits. On the 15th, we have Business Over Breakfast at the Incubator. This month we will have a panel on sales and negotiation. The panelists are experts from local businesses and industries. You’ll have the opportunity to ask specific questions, network with the panelists before and after the event, and we provide a light breakfast snack to keep you revved up.

Friday, the 17th, is our Open Coffee Club (at Cups/Hospice on 12th Street this month). This is an informal meeting of staff, small business owners, and entrepreneurs. Great conversation, networking, and synergy. Have a cuppa Joe and spend a couple hours getting new ideas for your business.
