The Colorado Economic Development Commission (EDC) developed the Enterprise Zone tax credits and incentives as a powerful tool to help community partners advance the economic development goals of Mesa County. The Enterprise Zone program offers various Colorado tax credits for:
The Mesa County Enterprise Zone Committee is made up of representatives from local government, and the business and human services community from throughout the county. They have established the following objectives for the local program:
Mesa County relies on recommendations from this Committee to make decisions regarding the Zone. Mesa County has contracted with the Business Incubator Center to administer the program. The Enterprise Zone portion of the website has been created with and supported by funds from the Colorado Enterprise Zone Marketing Grant. |
